「做孩子人生成长的好榜样」 —— 谭翠英

 

Hello everyone，我是来自湖北的谭翠英 Tanya，苏州这座城市是我最喜欢的城市，也是我的第二故乡.

我有一个很幸福的大家庭，我很爱他们。我有一个非常可爱的儿子，俗话说，榜样的力量是无穷的，对于孩子来讲，这一点尤其重要。家庭是孩子最基本的生活和教育单位，父母是这个教育单位里的老师，一言一行，一举一动，都有可能成为孩子的效仿源。

 

无数事例证明，孩子最初的行为习惯都是从父母身上学来的。因此，父母要特别重视榜样对孩子的巨大影响作用，时时处处为孩子树立榜样。所以我一直在学习，来沃尔得学习英语也是为了给儿子树立一个榜样，平时在家我都会坚持和儿子一起说英语，我相信这也会激发起儿子学习的热情.
 

 

除了学习之外，我还有一个梦想：带上家人去环游世界.

 

对于身处银河系荒凉偏僻的旋臂上，微小的太阳星系中，一颗渺小蓝色星球上，尘埃一样微不足道的我们，在这个狭小的世界上旅行能有什么意义？

我觉得：在宇宙的时间长河里，我们不过百年的一生又有什么意义？
 

是的，你可以在旅行中看到很多前所未见的东西

那些曾经只在电视上出现的动物，非洲草原上优雅的长颈鹿，熊孩子式的小狮子

他们很漂亮，拥有远超你想象的活力，震撼人心

 

你也可以在吴哥窟看到层次鲜明的日出

 

 

也可以在墨西哥的雪山下感受平静温暖的黄昏
 

不过，这也谈不上有意义.

 

可以在海边沙漠里悠闲的躺着；可以在荒无人烟的50号公路穿行；也可以在加尔各答热闹的公园看猴戏；可以在古巴的大街上看到40年前的汽车还在行驶，恍惚自己穿越到了过去；你可以做很多别人想得到或想不到的事；也可以做很多别人不喜欢但你很喜欢的事；还可以做你从来没有做过的事，连想都不敢想的事.

 

我觉得在这荒凉偏僻的星系中，在我们这短短的一生中，在这仅有一次的生命中就应该：做你想做的事，成为你想成为的人

 

这就是我想环游世界最大的意义！

Hi, May, Thank you! Hi, everyone, my name is Tanya Tan. I am from LiChuan in HuBei, SuZhou is my favourite city and it is my second hometown. 

 

I have a big family, my dad, mum, older sister, older brother, my husband,my son, my father-in-law, mother-in-law, two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, four nephews and me. I love them very much, they love me too. But my Dad passed away on August the 23rd last year, I am very sad. 

 

I am a quality engineer, I like my job, I like traveling and  watching TV, I usually study English in my free time. Becuse I need to speak English in my job, I came to world to learn English, thank every teacher and every classmate for their help, and teacher May is one of them, she is my tutor too, she helps me make study plan and helps me study English.

How do you learn English well, what do you usually do?

Studying English is very difficult, but I will never give up, I preview before every class and review after every class, I do "speexx" three times every week, I came to world to learn English every weekend. Sometimes I speak English with my son at home.

You are a mother, you have your family and you are busy with your work, but you insist on coming here every Saturday and Sunday, how can you do that?

 

I have a big dream. If I can speak English well, I can take my family to travel around the world. Thank you.

You started from scratch to learn English form last October, from then on, you came here for lessons every weekend, rain or shine. After 7 months’ study, now you can express your idea simply. You never skipped any classes and homework. Even though you have a long way to go, I always believe in you! Come on! You will sure be excellent two years later!
